Priority 1 in 2012

In a perfect world, Mitt Romney would not be my first, or even second choice for Republican presidential nominee. But it's not a perfect world. Even though I don't like Romney's lack of principal on important social issues, Ann's analysis is hard to argue with. Our country's future is literally at stake in 2012. Removing Obama at all costs is priority #1. In support of Ann's logic, Governor Romney is the only candidate who has polled higher than Obama more than once. We can debate about the most conservative Republican in 8 years.

I enjoy the humor I find in daily life. Here's the latest example. Yesterday I replaced a burned-out belt on our vacuum cleaner. I found this on the belt wrapper: "IMPORTANT: Turn vacuum cleaner OFF before replacing belt." I'm so glad I read that, as it kept me from perhaps loosing fingers trying to put the belt on a rapidly-spining motor shaft and connecting the belt to a round beater bar wrapped with vicious brushes!
